wsd sisters

It was a cold, windy, and icy day in Cedarburg, making the outdoors feel harsh and uninviting. But inside The Studio, the atmosphere was warm, cozy, and full of creative energy. It was such a joy and truly so much fun to see and photograph the talented Stenz sisters from Water Street Pre-Pros. We were also fortunate to have Kate Alava as a photo assistant, overseeing the dance poses with her keen eye and expertise. It is always an absolute pleasure to work alongside both Kate and the devoted WSD students. I am especially honored to have captured the younger sister’s very first professional headshot—an important milestone as she prepares to audition for summer intensives this year. Merde! This headshot undoubtedly marks the beginning of many more professional portraits to come. Both sisters are not only extremely gifted and disciplined dancers, but they are also genuinely sweet and kind-hearted individuals. I sincerely hope to have the opportunity to work with you all again in the near future. Wishing you all the very best!!
